EMMA CARPENTER Emma is our ever-helpful and constantly cheery office assistant! She is the voice you'll hear behind the phone! Emma is an outgoing, positive, multitasking and multi-talented girl! She has been interested in the health field from a very young age. We are excited about this, and looking for her to expand her education in the future to bring even more options to the patients of the clinic! We are so happy to have found her. Emma has developed a passion for travel and has recently returned from 11 weeks in Thailand!
TRACY HUNTER-HEARTT Tracy is registered with the Remedial Massage Therapists Association of Alberta. She has been in business since 2000. She is a Certified Advanced Practitioner of (NST) Neurostructural Integration Therapy and is also the only NST Teacher in Canada. Tracy is a graduate of a two year osteopathic massage program from the Northern Institute of Massage (1999-2000). Tracy holds a certificate in the Hormonal Release Technique (hormonalreleasethebowenway.com.au/casestudies.htm)and also certificates in Fitness and Nutrition, Cranio-Sacral Technique, (EFT) Emotional Freedom Technique and Pharmacology for Massage Therapy. Tracy is also a Certified Microscopist for Live Blood Cell Education. Tracy is an avid curler in the winter and enjoys camping and the outdoors in the summer months. Tracy will soon be completing her training in Concussion Management, which she is very excited to be offering in the clinic beginning in October of this year.
TERRI MURPHY Terri started in January of 2014 and is a third year practitioner of NST (Neurostructural Intergration Technique) coming from a background of Neuro-psychology from U of C. Terri is very motivated and interested to expand her education and skills to assist the clinic in providing NST therapy to it's patients. Terri enjoys all things fitness related and holds a diploma in Dental Hygiene.
LAURIE LINSLEY JENSEN Laurie has been involved in health care from a young age, with a background as a certified dental assistant. Having always had an interest in helping people, Rolfing gives her the opportunity to help people on a more wholistic level. She works with people of all ages and conditions to realign the body eliminating and managing pain. Rolfing helps to increase mobility, effectively deals with postural issues, repetitive stress conditions, sciatica, scoliosis and headaches, to name a few. She started her training in the USA in 2000 and finished in Brazil in 2002. She is happy to bring Rolfing to Canada, helping people right here in her home town. SHANON PRATT Shanon is a certified Natural Health Practitioner. Shanon brings a wealth of knowledge to our clinic. She is a certified Microscopist specializing in Live Blood Education (LBE). LBE can show us many things about the current state of our health. Some of the things it can show are: bacteria, parasites, presence of plaque, evidence of fatigue, heavy metal toxicity, disease markers, undigested proteins, fat and sugars and so much more! Shanon is also taking training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, so that will be one more layer to offer the patient who wants to take control of their own health care! CAROLINE KUZYK Caroline joined our team this spring and is a bilingual Foot Care Nurse and Reflexologist. She is registered with the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses and also the Reflexology Association of Canada (British Columbia chapter). She offers foot care services such as diabetic foot care, corn and callus removal, reduction/complications from ingrown nails or foot fungus, and dry or cracked heel care. She also offers reflexology which is beneficial to facilitate a deep state of relaxation, alleviates stress, tension, pain and anxiety.
